This is the first set of knee braces that I've owned and I got them for some extra support due to recently having a knee replacement in one knee and meniscus tear in the other. I have only done one ride with them so far but they were very comfortable, hardly noticed I was wearing them really, pants fit over them easily, felt no sideways movement of my knees at all, and at the end of the ride my knees didn't feel as sore as usual so I'll consider that a win.
