High quality, clasps will require a good push to open. The clasps are wrapped in a neoprene sock which makes threading more fidley but protects the car from scratches, and allows you to loop and re-thread the tag ends for travel. This strap length is good if you are regularly carrying multiple boards and or Mals. It is too long if you are only transporting a shortboard or two.
