NEW to the 2025 K2 snowboard family is the K2 Almanac! Replacing the Party Plater in the range, the Almanac is an all-mountain freestyle slayer for riders who like to make the whole mountain their playground. With a strong yet lightweight Tri-Species renewable wood core and Ollie Bar, this puppy has pop and the power to boost. The Volume shift gives a little more width under the feet for a stable, super fun ride and the ability to downsize 3-5cm from what you would usually ride. Sporting a directional combination camber with rocker in the tip and tail and camber under the feet, the Almanac is perfect for holding an edge in harder snow conditions while still having the rocker for powder days and allows a bit more forgiveness in the board. Perfect for New Zealand conditions!
Rider Type: All Mountain / Freestyle
Shape: Directional
Flex: 5/10
Rocker: Rocker Nose / Camber / Shorter Rocker Tail
Ability Level: Intermediate / Advanced
CAMBER
Combination Camber Profile - The best of both worlds! By blending both traditional camber and rocker profiles, Combination Camber gives you all the benefits of both the pop and precision of camber and the float and predictability of rocker.
SHAPE
Volume Shift - By moving the volume from the tip and tail of the snowboard, Volume shift moves it underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float and stability of traditional boards, but increases mobility and maneuverability. Better slashing and turning in a snap. Try it, you'll like it!
CORE
BAP - Bamboo. Aspen. Paulownia. We’ve blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that’s strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
Ollie Bar - Built in place in a pre-loaded cambered shape and placed between the binding inserts, the Ollie Bar™ helps by adding extra snap between the feet to increase pop from the highest load-zone.
Carbon Backbone - Tip to tail cambered carbon insert running down the centre of the snowboard adds response and rebound for precise control on approached and landing heavy tricks, also adds that lovely snap to every ollie that feels SO GOOD!
Biax Glass - Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
BASE
Sintered 4000 - K2's Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
A Team favorite, right out of the gate, the Bond snowboard binding was developed with the help of riders like Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski, and Antti Jussila. The most freestyle-focused binding in our men’s collection, the Bond prides itself on being lightweight, flexible, and comfortable. This do-it-all snowboard binding features a set of no-frills straps atop a vibration damping This Grips!™ basepad.
